“Why is it so hard to find clothes that fit?”

That question became a refrain in my mind starting from childhood. Whether I was shopping for tops, bottoms, or even my wedding dress, I struggled to find pieces that actually fit my body and made me feel confident. 

Terms like “big boned” and “broad shoulders” kept coming up. The more items I tried on, the more I lost the joy in shopping and self-expression through clothing. 

As it turns out, I wasn’t alone. The more I talked to women about finding clothes that fit, the more I realized that poor fitting clothing is a universal problem.
